compile manually a kernel (2.4.0-test11 is damn stable and nice for
laptop users especially) and also download the pcmcia-cs package from
pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net. This should fix all your problems. You are
getting this problem, not because of a hardware conflict but because you
are not telling the i82365.o modules to find what it wants (I think).

I have always found it "silly" to use the pcmcia-cs package which has
not been compiled manually and with a hand compiled kernel do to things
not working, also things run faster
