I recently installed mandrake 7.2 on my inspiron 3800 everything went fine
except that after the installation is finished and I reboot into linux my
CD-R drive cease's to functioning....not even as a regular CD drive when I
try to mount the device I get a "failed to mount drive....permission
denied" even if I am root. Has anyone else run into this problem....or
found a way around it
