Subject: Sound on Toshiba 490 XCDT???

Can anyone help with sound on this laptop? I'm running COL 2.4, standard
install, no updates to the software (maybe needed?).
During install a Soundblaster was detected. I do know the machine has a
Yamaha OPL3. I've loaded the Yamaha module and set the interupt, IRQ and
I/O. When booting, I still get and indication of an interrupt problem with
sound. I've tried several I/O settings, as there are several indicated in
Windows.
Still no luck. Everything else works fine, video and network. Haven't tried
modem yet.
