Please Help,

I recently purchased an IBM ThinkPad i1200. This notebook comes w/a 550MHZ
Celeron, 96M Ram, Internal CDROM, USB floppy.. I've tried to load Mandrake
7.0 - 7.2 .. I cannot boot off the CD,nor the boot floppy. All I get is boot
failure.I do not get this when booting from a Win2K Prof. CD. I can get 6.5
installed, but I want the latest version for the new KDE and USB features. I
tried RedHat 7.0, but I get the same error. Does anyone have an idea on how
to get Linux loaded on this laptop.

Thanks,
Glenn
